Affiliate disclosure.

In plain English: how we make money, what that does (and doesn't) influence, and what your rights are as a reader.

The short version

Screen-Protectors.com participates in the Amazon EU Associates Programme (United Kingdom) and equivalent regional programmes operated by Amazon in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, the United States, and Canada. When you click an Amazon link on this site and subsequently buy something — even a different product — Amazon pays us a small percentage of the order as commission. You pay nothing extra. The price you see on Amazon is the price you'd see if you went to Amazon directly without us.

Our affiliate tags & OneLink

All Amazon links on Screen-Protectors.com carry our affiliate tracking tag. Amazon's OneLink service automatically routes our links to the appropriate regional Amazon store based on the visitor's country — so a reader in Manchester clicking a link is automatically routed to Amazon with prices in pounds, and we receive the correct UK Associates commission. A reader in Hamburg lands on Amazon.de. A reader in Toronto lands on Amazon. This is how reputable international publishers handle Amazon affiliate links across borders, and it's why our links work for visitors regardless of where they live.

What this means for our reviews

The fact that we earn commissions when you buy through our links has zero influence over our rankings. We have been refusing paid placements since 2003, and we continue to refuse them. The four-criteria methodology described in our About page — clarity, durability, installation, value — is applied before any commercial consideration. A product earns its Top 10 position. It cannot be bought.

The only thing affiliate links do is keep the lights on. Without them, this site doesn't exist. With them, you get independent reviews and we get to keep writing them — and you pay nothing extra in the process. We think that's a fair exchange, and we want you to understand the model fully so you can decide whether you trust us.

What we will not do

How to read our links

Every Amazon link on this site is marked with the standard rel="sponsored nofollow" attribute, in line with Google's guidance for affiliate disclosure at the HTML level. They open in a new tab so you can return to the original review easily. You'll see Amazon's familiar branding, pricing in pounds (or your local currency if OneLink redirects you), and Amazon's normal Prime / shipping / returns policies — we are not a retailer and never see your payment information.

UK regulatory compliance

This site complies with the relevant UK consumer-protection standards governing online affiliate marketing:

Specific Amazon language required by the Associates Operating Agreement:

Screen-Protectors.com is a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon. Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. As an Amazon Associate, Screen-Protectors.com earns from qualifying purchases.

Your statutory rights

Affiliate disclosure does not affect your statutory consumer rights. When you buy from Amazon via our links, your contract is with Amazon (or the relevant third-party seller on Amazon Marketplace), and your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in the usual way. We are not a party to your purchase and cannot resolve disputes — for that, contact Amazon customer service directly.
